Grid balancing
One of the main problems for grid stability today is the rapid introduction of renewable power sources such as wind and solar.
Due to natural variations in wind and sunshine, the fluctuation in power production is much faster than it used to be when everything was based on large, rotating generators in coal, nuclear or hydro power plants.
These rapid fluctuations generate a lot of problems for the power grid as the fluctuations must be balanced with other power sources to keep the power grid stable. Hydro power plants, gas turbines and diesel generators can be used, but in many cases they are too slow and inefficient.
This is where batteryblokks can play an important role. With our scalable and intelligent battery systems we can balance the grid in both low-capacity situations and also in over-capacity situations.
And when the capacity need increases, more batteryblokks can be installed in a fast and cost-effective way.
